2020년 7월 17일(금)에 공개된 따끈따끈한 신곡

두 여가수는 그야말로 hot한

Doja Cat과 Anne Marie.

신곡의 제목은 "To Be Young" (2020)

 

두 가수 모두 꾸준히 신곡들을 발표하며

인기를 끌어모은다고 해도 과언이 아닌데,

저번 레이디 가가와 아리아나 그란데의 듀엣 이후

참 반가운 조합인 것 같다 :)

 

초반부는 잔잔한 느낌의 멜로디이지만

메인 부분으로 가면 웅장한 느낌으로 스케일이 커지는 느낌이다.

 

다만, 두 가수가 노래를 거의 따로 부르기 때문에

그냥 따로 부른 노래를 합치기만 한 느낌이 들어 조금 아쉽다.

"Rain on me"처럼 같이 부르는 장면이 있다거나

목소리가 교차되어도 좋았을 것 같은데ㅜ

 

뮤직비디오에서도 같이 등장하는 장면은 없고

따로따로 찍어서 함께 편집해서 더 그런 느낌일까?

그래도 뮤직비디오는 여유롭고 나른한 느낌에

하늘이 아주 맑고 푸르게 표현돼서 좋았다.

 

작사 작업으로 두 가수 모두 참여한 것으로 보이는데

개인적으로 이 부분이 제일 마음에 든다 :)
